Little Girl's Birthday - Magnolia

 

I made this awhile ago for a friend's granddaughter who was turning four.  She loves to go around the house and dance on her toes.

WOW long time between posts!

Made this awhile ago for a girlfriend who treated me to a fantastic birthday.  She just loves elephants, so bought this stamp set just to make her this card.

Bazzill Cardstock, Scrap pattern paper (old), Spellbinders Label 1 dies,  Humphrey's Corner stamp set by Crafter's Companion - UK

I made several of this style, in different colours for 5 co-workers.  They were very happy with them.  I am pretty sure I 'cased' this from Nicole Heady, when she was introducing the Wonderful Word additions and dies.

Gift Cards

I made these for some ladies who came to a clothes party I had.  I haven't had a lot of luck with holding parties over the years - usually no one turns up......so because they turned up I really wanted to let them know how much I appreciated it!

This was for one ladies husband, who made his famous noodle chicken for us to snack on! Oh yummy :)

Button Boutique.......

I just loved making this card for my mother in law's birthday.  I just can't believe I haven't used this set more often!!! This coming year is my year to break out all my Papertrey sets more often :)

With Sympathy

A good friend lost her mother late last year and I made this card for her and her family.  I found this verse years ago on the internet and use it often.  I used Papertrey's "With Sympathy" for the floral background and then cut out lavender coloured tissue paper with the Beautiful Blooms dies and made the gorgeous flower.  I then made a tag from "Tiny Tags die" and stamped with "Mixed Messages" - With Sympathy. Was so happy with the end result, simple, clean and very heartfelt.

Pink 50th Birthday

Made this for a girlfriend's 50th (of course).  Love this patterned paper.  I used Papertrey's By the Numbers dies, and stamped with the Embellishment set in Papertrey Fresh Snow (white ink) on a strip of Spring Moss cardstock. I dry embossed the numbers with a Cuttlebug folder and  I added some real Swarovski Crystals to add bling!

Baby Sympathy

Back for 2012, sadly with a Sympathy card, but thanks to Papertrey's wonderful heartfelt "With Sympathy - Child"....I was able to make this very special card.

70th Birthday

Was a rush 70th birthday card for a friend's father.  I was very happy with how it turned out and she was extremely thrilled with the end result too.

Baby Boy

Friends had a little boy recently, so to congratulate them I made this cute card.  They were very happy to receive it too :)

Happy 40th Birthday!

Made this for a great friend who, of course was turning 40!  Don't know why but my 'mojo' was flowing freely and I put this whole card together within 15 minutes total.

Sympathy Card

It's never nice to have to make a Sympathy card, but I have started to make them a little brighter, hoping to lift the spirits of the receiver, if only a little.

Long time between posts........

Made this for a couple we know when they celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary.

Another Sympathy card.......

Sadly my husband's long time friend lost two family members within a week..........always hard to make, but these came easily from my heart.

With Sympathy......

Always a hard task.....making a sympathy card, but with the range of Papertrey stamps it isn't hard to put various ones together to make something beautiful.

Happy Anniversary.......

 

I wondered what on earth I could do for a 50th Anniversary that was coming up, but once I got out all my supplies - especially my Papertrey stamps..............it all flowed and this was made :)

Graduation Cards..........

I made this card for my daughter's University graduation in October 2010 - Bachelor of Psychology.

And I made this one for my son's University graduation in December 2010 - Bachelor of Computer Science.

Made this awhile ago, when I was just stamping this beautiful Sweet Pea stamp from Papertrey. Just love this stamp set so much.

Birthday Boy..

Papertrey's "Fly Away"...was thrilled how this card turned out and so was the little boy who received it.  Love how his name was short enough to fit in the banner. All Papertrey goodness here :)
