My Copic Storage Solution.....

There have been many ways shown for Copic storage, but most of them are not available or too expensive for me here in Australia.....so I improvised. I bought this cute cane basket.

This photo shows how I divided it with cardboard, making individual colour sections. I have just used cardboard from cereal boxes, but hope to use some heavy recyled cardboard later..... Hope this idea might be useful for someone else????

Special Friend Birthday Wishes

This was a pleasure to make for a very special girlfriend of mine. I used pattern paper I had at the time, but hope to use the new Papertrey patterned papers that have come out over the last few months to recreated this. Oh looking forward to Papertrey releasing a new 'die' to cut these blooms, they make gorgeous layered flowers, but they are a pain to cut out each time.

A New Home Sweet Home......

I made this for a friend new home that she moved into last year. I gave her a candle set too with matching paper - yet again I forgot to take a photo of it.

Forgot to post this one. A Papertrey card I made for one of my mother's birthdays. The base has a hole cut out and vellum inserted, then the pattern squares are attached to that, looks gorgeous when it's upright - sadly didn't take a good photo of it like that.

Oh baby shower invites too.......

Well added to the wedding preparations, I am in charge of decorations for my daughter's baby shower. She is due 20th April, so all things are busy busy around here.

I used the adorable 'onesie' template from Papertrey and was able to cut them on my cricut machine - very helpful and time saving!

Oh I am so very happy with how they turned out....wondered if I should have made my wedding invites like this.....ha ha.

Sadly I didn't have a 'baby shower' stamp from Papertrey, so used one I had.

Here's a link to another batch of these I made for a friend's grandchild's baby shower:-

The Frangipani Invitations....

Thanks to Papertrey's wonderful colour range, I was able to make my favourite flower "frangipani" into a wonderful beach inspired wedding invite. If you look closely you should see the ice stickles I put on the tulle and the dry embossing on the top white cardstock.

I also used the Papertrey 'celebrate today' stamp from Mega Mixed Messages
with 3 rhinestones underneath to set it off.

The Invitation boxes

As the invites were quite thick, I needed to make special 'box' envelopes. Thanks to Scor Pal's website, the template was perfect.I hope you can see ok the Papertrey white pearl heat embossed flourish I used and then I tied the box like a parcel with tulle and closed off with a bow. Due to the thickness I hand delivered them.

Please drop back tomorrow when I upload the actual invitation. Cheers Denise

I'm getting married.....again

Oh I thought seeing as I have revamped my blog and added a wedding countdown clock, I thought that who ever drops by might catch on that I am getting married??!! I hope to post over the next few days, pictures of the handmade invites I have made, then the placecards and favors. I hope in all the rush to be able to add non craft related photos of my dress, shoes, jewels etc...hoping that even though this is my 2nd time around (hence the 'again') that you all might be as excited too. Must go as the clock says I only have 36 days to go and I only knew about all this a month ago!!!! More to follow......
